Today, Monday, the Ministry of Justice announced that it is discussing the construction of a five-a-side stadium, a modern market, and two schools in 3 governorates that belong to the Fund for the Care of Minors.
The ministry’s media stated, in a statement received by the “National News Center”, that “Minister Salar Abdul Sattar Muhammad presided over the second session of the Minors’ Welfare Council for the year 2021 in the presence of the council members, and discussed a number of special decisions, including the establishment of a five-a-side stadium on a plot of land the size of ( 1000 m) belonging to the Fund for the Care of Minors in Salah al-Din Governorate, and the establishment of a school with a modern market on a plot of land with an area of (1350 m) in Basra governorate and providing an integrated study for the establishment of a (kindergarten and an elementary school) in Karbala governorate.”
He pointed out that "the council agreed in principle to invest the two plots located in the Hay Al-Amil area of the Baghdad governorate as an area after assigning the investor to prepare an integrated study through a specialized engineering office."
The statement stated, "While the Director General of the Department of Care for Minors has delegated some powers related to Paragraph (First) of Article 43 of the Minors' Care Law."
