Revealing the plan to develop and rehabilitate Basra Airport in 2022

{Local: Al Furat News} The administration of Basra International Airport announced a plan to develop and rehabilitate the airport during the next year's budget 2022 to include the development, expansion, landscaping and lighting of the airport gate, as well as paving the gate.
Airport Director Mortada Abdel-Zahra said in a press statement that the plan includes the establishment of a passenger reception hall that can accommodate 1,000 people, as well as the establishment of a special gate and the construction of a new reception station that can accommodate 2,500 passengers.
He added that the rehabilitation works include a comprehensive change of the passenger terminal in terms of decorations and colors through a private airport rehabilitation company.
He added that this plan has prepared all studies and plans and will be implemented by the local government during the next year's budget.
