    American newspaper revealed Tuesday that Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki had agreed to the formation of combat units of ten thousand troops to regain control of Mosul organization "Daash."
     
    The newspaper quoted "World Tribune," U.S. officials as saying, "The government of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki had agreed to the formation of units, numbering more than 10 thousand troops to restore Mosul."
     
    The officials added that the "members of these units from the Sunnis and Kurds of Nineveh province seized organizing Daash the most."
     
    In a related context, the paper quoted the governor of Nineveh Ethel Nujaifi as saying, "We have formed many of the combat units of the local population to fight Daash and people here are determined to expel Daash", noting that "combat units composed of tribes in Mosul and its environs, and authorities are seeking to gain popular support for the continuation of the recruitment process. "
