Reassurance about employee salaries

{Economic: Al Furat News} The former director of the Financial Supervision Bureau, Salah Nuri, confirmed that the salaries of employees should not be affected, regardless of the economic conditions in the country.
And Nuri told {Euphrates News} that "the financing of the next budget will be according to the available financial liquidity, and that salaries are the only thing that will not be affected by any economic decline, if oil prices drop and reach 50 dollars per barrel."
And he indicated that "it is not possible to take any step to reduce salaries, or add a tax to retirees' salaries, because it is considered a legal violation."
He pointed out that "the first sectors affected by any economic downturn are investment projects. It is possible that their financing operations could stop or be reduced if we direct a special economic situation."
