On Wednesday, the Al-Fateh Alliance made a statement after the coordination framework met with officials of the Kurdistan region.
The leader of the coalition, Muhammad Al-Ghabban, said in a statement that "during the visit of the delegation of the coordination framework to the Kurdistan region and its meeting with the leaders of the Democratic and Union parties, we found common visions on the need for understanding between the political forces and consensus on managing the state in the next stage in order to achieve stability and the emergence of an effective government capable of Facing challenges, overcoming crises and providing services.
He added that "the concept of the ruling majority and the opposition minority in effective democratic systems is still far from the Iraqi reality and does not lead to stability and balance in the political process, and the choice of the opposition and non-participation in the government is optional for those who want to choose it without being imposed on it."
Al-Ghabban stressed that "the two sides will form a joint Kurdish delegation to discuss with all parties to reach common understandings and with everyone."
