    {Local: Al Furat News} The Federal Integrity Commission disclosed the details of the decision in attendance issued against the former Deputy Minister of Electricity, explaining that it came against the background of one of the cases investigated, stressing that it will continue to investigate other criminal cases related to the convict.
    And the investigation department of the authority stated, in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that “the details of the case that the authority investigated in cooperation with the Diwani Order Committee (29), reported that the Rusafa Criminal Court issued a 6-year prison sentence on the former undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity. for receiving bribes, in return for referring projects belonging to the Ministry of Electricity to sub-companies,” noting that “this case comes among several cases in which the authority is investigating related to various charges attributed to the convict.”
    And the circuit added that "the court, after reviewing the evidence and evidence in the case, the details of which indicate that the convict had received financial bribes estimated at four hundred thousand dollars from one of the fugitive defendants, in return for facilitating the task of referring contracts belonging to the ministry (the Hilla Karbala project in Al-Batin) to certain companies. To the full conviction of the culpability of the convict, it decided to sentence him to imprisonment for six years and a fine of ten million dinars, based on the provisions of Resolution (160 of 1983), with the right to the aggrieved party to request compensation before the courts if the decision becomes final.
    In mid-December, the authority announced the issuance of a severe four-year prison sentence against the former director general of the Economic Department in the Ministry of Electricity. Based on the provisions of Resolution (160/Second/1 of 1983); As a result of receiving a bribe amount through a deed, while it announced on the twenty-fifth of last July that a ruling had been issued against the convict in another case, to imprison him for four years and a fine for the crime of bribery. To pass a contract in return for taking the amount of (1,350,000,000) billion dinars
