    {Local: Al Furat News} The National Data Center Department, in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, discussed the electronic vaccination system, and the possibility of achieving interconnection with international vaccination systems, and its adoption as an official international health electronic document for Iraqi citizens.
    A statement by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers stated that, "during the meeting, which was held in the building of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, in the presence of representatives of the Ministries of Health and Foreign Affairs, technical and technical matters were studied, to start implementing the first phase of interconnection at the local level, through the Ur portal platform for e-government services. In preparation for the completion of the requirements of the remaining stages.
    The director of the National Data Center Department noted that "the vaccination system data will be adopted as one of the means of verifying the identity of those registered on the {Ur} portal. 
    It is noteworthy that the government department announced in December of last year 2021, the launch of the first phase of the electronic application “Salamat”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health / Maysan Health Department, which allows citizens to obtain the results of smears for the examination of (Covid-19), through a window. electronic one.
    In a second meeting with information technology specialists at the Ministry of Commerce, the department also discussed the procedures and technical requirements regarding the launch of the "Shomool" application.
    The director of information technology in the ministry, Majid Khalaf Abbas, said that the aforementioned application will verify the data of those included in the food basket, as well as document the data of citizens who are not eligible and those with high incomes by informing the ministry about it voluntarily by citizens. 
    It should be noted that the comprehensive application will start working with government employees and a limited number of ministries and gradually expand to include all of them, while keeping the voluntary update of the data of those who are not eligible by citizens, until a candidate database is reached and a solid database.
    The Director of the National Data Center Department confirmed the full readiness to prepare the technical and technical requirements for launching a comprehensive application, and continued that coordination and cooperation is in place with the Ministry of Commerce to launch it.
