Today, Wednesday, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi received the President of the Islamic Supreme Council, Hammam Hammoudi, where the two sides stressed the importance of forming a government capable of meeting the requirements of the stage.
Al-Halbousi's office said in a statement, "The two sides stressed the importance of continuing political dialogues to complete the constitutional entitlements, and to form a government capable of meeting the requirements of the stage," noting that "political developments in the country were discussed."
The President of the Supreme Council congratulated Al-Halbousi, on the occasion of his re-election as Speaker of the House of Representatives in its fifth session.
