, Hakim Al-Zamili, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, received in his office in Baghdad, today, Tuesday, Chairman of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, Rafel Yassin Khudair.
Al-Zamili said during the meeting, that the Presidency of the House of Representatives, as well as the parliamentary committees to be formed after a while, will strictly monitor all reports issued by the Oversight Bureau, calling for the need to redouble efforts and coordination between Parliament and the regulatory authorities to scrutinize the work of state institutions and reveal areas of corruption and defects, while He called for the continuation and effectiveness of the Audit Bureau in detecting files of administrative and financial corruption, and preserving public money, promising to conduct a visit to the Bureau's headquarters.
Al-Zamili stressed that the role of the Board in the supervisory aspect reflects the nobility of this institution, the sobriety of its reports and the efficiency of its staff, pointing out that the work of the Board of Supreme Audit must depend on complete independence, away from external, personal and partisan influences, while pointing out that the reform phase has begun and will not end except with the removal of Corrupt from the joints of the state.
