    Today, Tuesday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi reviewed, during the weekly session of the Iraqi Council of Ministers, the general situation in the country, and the great challenges facing the country during the current stage.
    In a statement, Al-Kazemi's office stressed the need to exert maximum efforts to confront challenges, continue to provide the best services to citizens, and follow up on important files in the security, economic, and service fields that are directly related to people's lives and the interests of the country.
    Al-Kazemi renewed his condolences to the families of Judge Ahmed Faisal Al-Saadi and Major Hossam Al-Alawi, who were assassinated in Maysan Governorate.
    He stressed that the government had taken quick measures to address the repercussions, and formed the Maysan Operations Command, explaining that he is personally following up with the security leaders in the province the implementation of security plans for the establishment of security, law, imposing the prestige of the state, and the prosecution of organized crime gangs.
    Al-Kazemi vowed, “to punish the criminals, and hold accountable all those who work to tamper with the security and stability of the province,” and stressed “rejection of any form of transgression against the state and its institutions.”
