[size=45]On Sunday, the Iraqi Stock Exchange announced the trading of shares with a financial value of more than five billion dinars during the past week.[/size]
[size=45]The market said in a report that “the number of companies whose shares were traded during the past week amounted to 43 joint-stock companies, while the shares of 39 companies were not traded due to the lack of convergence of purchase orders prices with sales orders, while 20 companies continue to be suspended for not providing disclosure, out of 103 companies listed in market".[/size]
[size=45]And he indicated that "the number of traded shares amounted to five billion and 45 million and 28 thousand shares, with a financial value of five billion and 646 million and 557 thousand dinars through the implementation of 2385 deals," noting that "the ISX60 traded price index closed at 570.63 points, recording a 1.48% decrease from its closing in the previous session.[/size]
[size=45]The market indicated that “the number of shares purchased from non-Iraqi investors for the past week amounted to 690 million shares, with a financial value of 758 million dinars, through the implementation of 76 deals, while the number of shares sold from non-Iraqi investors reached 1.042 billion shares, with a financial value of 1.091 billion dinars through Implementation of 139 deals.”[/size]
[size=45]It is noteworthy that the Iraq Stock Exchange organizes five trading sessions a week from Sunday to Thursday, and includes 103 Iraqi joint stock companies representing the sectors of banking, telecommunications, industry, agriculture, insurance, financial investment, tourism and hotels.[/size]
