    The House of Representatives held its session, today, Saturday, under the chairmanship of Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi.
    A statement issued by the media department stated that "the House of Representatives held its session in the presence of 265 deputies and headed by Muhammad al-Halbousi."
    He added that "the parliament voted to open the door for candidacy for the position of the president of the republic," noting that "the number of voting deputies reached 203 deputies, and 62 deputies did not vote."
    The session’s agenda includes voting to open the door for candidacy for the position of President of the Republic, and the formation of permanent parliamentary committees for the House of Representatives.
