, Minister of Trade, Alaa Al-Jubouri, confirmed, on Monday, that the items of the ration card will reach directly to the citizens, saying that raising food prices is an "artificial process."
Al-Jubouri said in a joint press conference with the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hakim Al-Zamili, that "our meeting with Parliament came to coordinate efforts to confront the rise in prices, and we found parliamentary support to confront the rise in prices."
He continued, "From tomorrow we will start preparing the agents," noting that "the ration card items will reach directly to the citizens."
He went on to say that "the citizen's strength is a red line," considering that "raising food prices is an artificial process." Ended 29/N33
