The price of a barrel of "Brent crude" reached 127.86, while it fell slightly to reach at 7:17 am GMT, 127.34 dollars, after the index opened at 124.56 dollars.
As a result of the Ukrainian crisis, the price of a barrel of “Brent” North Sea crude rose to approach its highest level ever, which was recorded at 147.50 dollars in August 2008.
