, head of the State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, warned today, Saturday, against turning the parliament session on electing the President of the Republic into a "breaking between the parties" session.
Al-Hakim said during the conference of the National Alliance of Faili Kurds, “We renewed our congratulations on the occasion of the birth of Imam Al-Mahdi (may God Almighty hasten his honorable reappearance) and warned us against turning the election session for the president of the republic into a session of breaking between the parties, and we said that the state is not managed with arms and broken bones, but with dialogue, understanding and integration. Putting the public interest above private interests.
Al-Hakim stressed "the importance of adopting a single rule in dealing with the forces wishing to participate in the next government, and he indicated that balance is a prelude to stability." He continued, "We said that the grievances of the Faili Kurds cannot be contained in words. Their grievances are great, and they have a history, symbols, and documents. The Fayli must inform their children and public opinion of their grievances and what happened to them."
He said, "We pointed out that the Faili Kurds were targeted for their national and sectarian affiliation, so that the regime wrote in them articles praising the efforts of his party to uproot the Failis from Iraq and adopt them as samples for its biological and chemical experiments, until 600,000 of them were displaced and 20,000 of them disappeared, whose fate is not yet known, and we called for unity.
