, the former Director of the Financial Supervision Bureau, Salah Nouri, confirmed, on Friday, that Iraq would not be affected in the event of an oil embargo on Russia.
In an interview with Mawazine News, Nuri said, "The embargo (if imposed) will be on the export of Russian oil, and that Iraq is an oil exporter and not an importer."
He pointed out that "the presence of Russian oil companies in Iraq will be affected by this decision (if it is taken)." Ended 29/N33
