Earth News/ The Iranian government decided today, Monday, to appoint a new ambassador to Baghdad, with the end of Iraj Masjedi's duties.
According to what was obtained by the Earth News Agency, "With the end of Iraj Masjedi's term of office, and with the approval of the Council of Ministers, Muhammad Kazem Al-Sadiq was appointed as the new ambassador of Iran in Iraq."
Al-Sadeq had worked in the Iranian embassy in Baghdad as the first deputy of the Iranian ambassador, Iraj Masjedi, for years. He is from the birth of the Iraqi province of Najaf and is from a well-known scholarly seminary family. He is the younger brother of the scholar, writer, poet Sheikh Muhammad Reda Al-Sadeq, and speaks Arabic and the Iraqi dialect fluently.
