The Federal Ministry of Health announced the registration of two thousand cases of suffocation due to the dust storm, indicating that most cases of suffocation are mild to moderate.

The ministry's spokesman, Saif Al-Badr, said, "The health staff is mobilized by their efforts to provide health services in health departments and hospitals," noting that "the ministry recorded today 2,000 cases of suffocation of varying severity in various health institutions."

Al-Badr called on citizens to “wear a mask and stay at home as much as possible, especially those who suffer from asthma and heart failure,” stressing the need to “wear protective clothing and glasses when going out.”

He stressed, "The health institutions are fully equipped in terms of medical oxygen, medicines and medical supplies."
