Member of the Central Committee of the Iraqi Communist Party, Comrade Suhad al-Khatib, said in a press statement to the party’s media center that “the repeated leakage of exam questions in the Ministry of Education shows the depth of corruption of the influential system, and the weakness of its capabilities in preserving the rights of the educational process.”
And the comrade stressed, "The breach is a reflection of the crisis of the influential political system on the various state institutions, and thus the Iraqi society in general has been affected."
A member of the Central Committee condemned this breach, indicating that “this indicates the size of the gap between the groups of society. Those who have money and are related to corrupt officials receive a reward that comes at the expense of the hardworking students, and their poor and toiling families.”
The comrade called for fairness to the students in the decision to repeat the exams in full, and to provide all the appropriate atmosphere for exam performance.
Al-Khatib expressed her fear of using this topic in the ongoing political conflict, and continued, that the imbalance is based on a conflict of interests.
The comrade stressed the need to hold accountable the negligent people and those responsible for this shameful act, noting the importance of reforming the education system in accordance with the requirements of basic need and its development, adding: “Experiences have proven that successful peoples have reached that progress through sobriety of education and keenness to improve living conditions and develop capabilities and competencies.” For scientific and teaching staff.
