Al-Halbousi's house hosts a meeting to decide the participation of the Sovereignty's deputies in tomorrow's session
Shafaq News/ An informed source said, on Wednesday, that the Sovereignty Alliance held a meeting regarding the emergency session of the House of Representatives scheduled to be held tomorrow, Thursday.
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "The Sovereignty Alliance is currently holding a meeting at the house of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi to resolve the coalition's deputies' participation in the emergency parliament session scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday."
Today, Wednesday, a parliamentary source stated that the Presidency of the House of Representatives invited the candidates, "the biggest losers", as replacements of the Sadrist bloc's resigning representatives to attend the session tomorrow, Thursday, while six of these substitutes refrained from attending because they are from the Sadrist bloc's candidates.
And the Presidency of the House of Representatives announced yesterday, Tuesday, that the Council will hold an extraordinary session, based on the provisions of Article 58 first of the Constitution, and at the request of a number of Council members, on Thursday, June 23, at 11 am.
