    The Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Army, Lieutenant General Abdul-Amir Rashid Yarallah, signed with the Commander of the NATO Mission, General Giovanni M. Inochi Memorandum of Understanding.

    The Iraqi Ministry of Defense said in a statement, "In order to support and develop the logistical system of the Iraqi armed forces and build their capabilities at all levels, the Army Chief of Staff witnessed an important event and a luminous sign in the history of the Iraqi army, namely the signing of the joint memorandum of understanding, with NATO, regarding the coding system."
