    The Information/Baghdad..
The Lebanese Ministry of Information announced that the caretaker Minister of Energy and Water, Walid Fayyad, will visit Iraq to discuss extending the contract to supply Lebanese power stations with Iraqi fuel.
The ministry stated that the caretaker Minister of Energy and Water, Walid Fayyad, will go to Baghdad at the invitation of the Iraqi Oil Minister, Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail, to hold talks on issues of common interest.
The discussions will address the extension and development of the signed contract, and the strengthening of the partnership between Lebanon and Iraq in order to continue supplying the electricity production stations of Lebanon with fuel.
And last year, Iraq signed an agreement with Lebanon to sell one million tons of heavy fuel oil at the international price, provided that the payment will be in services and goods. finished/25
