    The Information/Baghdad…
Legal expert Dr. Raqiah Al-Khazali confirmed that Iraq can sue Turkey for its aggression on its lands and put it under Chapter VII.
Khazali told Al-Maalouma, "The Charter of the United Nations prohibits any country within its organization from attacking or penetrating its territory without a legitimate reason issued by an international court or the United Nations, and therefore what Turkey is doing has no legal justification, and therefore It is an attack on a neighboring country.”
She added, "Al-Kazemi's government does not have the legal right to take decisions of a sovereign nature, but rather to file a lawsuit before the United Nations and to challenge the legality of Turkish attacks and incursions into Iraqi territory."
And she indicated that "the Al-Kazemi government has an opportunity to file a lawsuit before the international courts, to demand the evacuation of Iraqi lands from the Turkish presence, and to demand compensation for this attack, as well as to protest to the United Nations due to the actions of the Turkish government."
She stressed that "what Turkey is doing may put it under Chapter VII in the event that it is prosecuted by Iraq as a result of its attacks on Iraqi lands and its occupation of large areas of a neighboring country." finished 25
