The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, denied the news of his candidacy for prime minister, while stressing that what is important to him first and foremost is to preserve the unity of the coordinating framework.
Al-Amiri said in a statement, that at a time when our honorable people are awaiting the completion of the constitutional entitlements successively, the formation of the expected service government and the approval of its national program, we have noticed that some media are circulating news and fabricated comments claiming that the coordination framework is witnessing a competition for the premiership between Al-Amiri and others, and also claim that This competition may lead to the disintegration of the framework, as she put it.
Al-Amiri added, that if I reject such a media performance that is charged with lies, and may be paid for, I would like to confirm that this news is false, and that I am not a candidate for this position and reject my candidacy from those who believe that this is correct from the Brotherhood, and that what is important to me first and foremost is to preserve the unity of the framework.
Al-Amiri said, "I will provide support and assistance to any candidate agreed upon by the brothers in the framework, despite our decision not to participate in any future government."
