    [size=45]Yesterday, Monday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, launched an attack, considered the most violent of its kind, against the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, and put him before two options, either to retire from political work, or to surrender himself to the judiciary.[/size]
    [size=45]During the past days, a number of audio recordings were leaked that were attributed to al-Maliki while he was talking with his supporters.[/size]
    [size=45]However, later audio leaks, during which al-Maliki began to make more severe accusations, threatening to attack al-Sadr in his residence in Najaf. He described the crowd as a "nation of cowards" and threatened a "cruel war", and began talking about the need to mobilize for this battle through the tribesmen.[/size]
    [size=45]Meanwhile, social media reported requests by lawyers to the judiciary to initiate a criminal case against al-Maliki on the charge of inciting the security situation, while unknown persons in Baghdad wrote phrases on the wall of one of the sites of the Islamic Dawa Party headed by al-Maliki indicating that it was “closed by the order of the crowd.”[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Maliki tried to remedy the abuse attributed to him to the crowd, and confirmed in a tweet that the crowd and its leaders are the great hope.[/size]
    [size=45]However, al-Sadr seemed disturbed by the latest leak attributed to al-Maliki, and said in a tweet yesterday that "it is surprising that the threat comes from (the Dawa Party) affiliated with the al-Sadr family and from their chief al-Maliki and from a Shiite side claiming its demand for the strength of the doctrine."[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Sadr demanded, the partners, a joint denunciation issued by the blocs allied with al-Maliki, and from the elders of his clan. And he stressed the need not to denounce al-Maliki's accusation of al-Sadr of collaborating with Israel or killing Iraqis, but also of his (al-Maliki's) assault on the security forces and accusing the Popular Mobilization of cowardice and incitement to sedition.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Sadr warned against the entry of a third party to inflame the strife from which he absolved, calling on al-Maliki to retreat and retire from political work or surrender himself and those who are corrupt to the judiciary.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Sadr described al-Maliki's ideas as destructive, stressing that the owner of these ideas has no right to lead Iraq in any way.[/size]
