    Today, Monday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi discussed with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Plaschaert, the Turkish attack on Dohuk, while confirming that Iraq had approached the UN Security Council regarding that attack.


    Al-Kazemi's office said, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that the latter "received today, Monday, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Plasshart."

    At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed that "Iraq proceeded to approach the UN Security Council regarding the recent Turkish aggression, which led to the martyrdom of a number of innocent citizens in Dohuk Governorate, and called on the United Nations and the international community to listen to the Iraqi point of view in this regard, in a way that enhances Iraq's sovereignty. its territory and protect its citizens.






    In turn, Plasschaert indicated that "she will make a statement in this regard at a session of the UN Security Council to be decided on this matter."

    The meeting also witnessed, according to the statement, "discussing the files of cooperation between Iraq and the United Nations Mission in various other fields, especially with regard to steps to close the file of the displaced and support the liberated areas."
