    Today, Wednesday, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, discussed ways to get out of the current crisis, while receiving the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jenin Hennis-Plasschaert.

    He added, "During the meeting, they discussed political developments in the country, ways to get out of the current crisis, ensure security and stability in the country, and secure dialogue and convergence among all to find effective solutions that fulfill the aspirations of citizens."






    Saleh stressed, "The conditions in the country require a commitment to calm and to engage in an honest and careful dialogue that deals with the political situation in order to reach a clear roadmap based on giving priority to the supreme national interest, reassuring citizens, consolidating civil and social peace, and fortifying the country."

    For her part, Plasschaert affirmed the support and support of the United Nations mission for dialogue between all parties and access to paths that secure the protection of security and stability and meet the requirements of the Iraqis.
