Today, Tuesday, the Federal Integrity Commission revealed the results of the work of the Diwani Order Committee (50 of 2019) on state real estate infringed, indicating that the committee, under the direct supervision of the Prime Minister, was able to return (1,376) properties to the ownership of the state, and hand over its bonds to its owners. .
The Authority's Prevention Department indicated in a statement, that "the Diwani Order Committee is continuing to follow up with the relevant real estate registration departments for (6,000) properties whose recovery is pending on the answers of those departments, while it is investigating the rest of the properties whose fate the official authorities do not know," pointing to " An inventory of (10,393) real estate belonging to the state has been exceeded, stressing that "there are thousands of properties under the issuance of their bonds by the real estate registration departments ."
The department added that "60 percent of the Ministry of Finance's (119,000) properties have been audited, in addition to searching for (14,526) properties belonging to the Ministry of Defense and (13,275) properties whose ownership was transferred to the Ministry of Finance upon the dissolution of the Ministry of Defense, noting that it "is not Marked by the real estate registration departments .
She explained that "the committee's work has nothing to do with private sector real estate, and in the event of fraud in it, it is referred to the competent official authorities," stressing that "the real estate belonging to the state is matched with real estate registration records in all parts of Iraq, except for the Kurdistan region," noting that At the end of this year, the committee will submit a list that includes the results of conformity with real estate, including ministries and bodies not affiliated with a ministry, and the 280 local administrations of governorates and municipalities, including the Baghdad Municipality .
The department stated that "the investigation is carried out by the committee after obtaining the approval of the prime minister or by referring it to the competent authorities to conduct an investigation, noting that the audit and investigation work carried out by the committee led to the detection of manipulated real estate, as it amounted in one governorate as (( Nineveh) with a limit of (10,000) thousands of properties, stressing that “a preliminary survey was conducted for all real estate registration departments with regard to missing files, records, torn pages, and illegally disposed properties .”
