    Baghdad / Obelisk: Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi discussed, Thursday, 22/09/2022, in New York, with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, strengthening military cooperation between Iraq and NATO.
    The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by Al-Masala that Al-Kazemi met in New York with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, on the sidelines of participation in the meetings of the United Nations General Assembly.
    According to the statement, the meeting reviewed the efforts of the Iraqi forces in combating terrorism and pursuing its remnants, and the successes they achieved on the ground, which were positively reflected on the consolidation of security and stability in Iraq and the region.
    The statement added that the meeting witnessed the meeting discussing ways to enhance security and military cooperation between Iraq and NATO countries, which provide assistance to the Iraqi forces in the field of training and advice.
    The two sides expressed the common desire to continue and expand cooperation, to consolidate security and information exchange, and to support Iraq's efforts to spread calm in the region, according to the statement.
