Today, Sunday, the Minister of Transport, representative of the Prime Minister, Nasser Al-Shibli, inaugurated Kirkuk International Airport.
Imad Daham, head of the advisory body in Kirkuk, said, in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency and followed by "Economy News", that "the Minister of Transport, representative of the Prime Minister, Nasser Al-Shibli, opened Kirkuk International Airport, in the presence of the Finance Minister, Hayam Nemat Koberlo, and the Governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Saeed Ali Al-Jubouri. ".
He added, "The airport will start from today to receive flights coming to Iraq," noting that "the Iraqi presidential plane landed on the land of Kirkuk International Airport."
Daham added, "The airport was opened in the presence of the commander of the advanced headquarters for joint operations, Lieutenant-General Ali Al-Fraiji, the assistant governor for technical affairs Ali Hammadi, the Kirkuk police chief, Major General Kaveh Gharib, and a number of officials in the Civil Aviation Authority and border crossings."
