His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at the Baghdad Palace, the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr. Mohsen Ali Akbar Al-Mandalawi.
During the meeting, they discussed the political, security and service situation, where it was emphasized that all efforts would be devoted to consolidating security and stability in the country, and preserving the achievements.
The President of the Republic referred to the necessity of standing up to corruption and embarking on a comprehensive construction process. His Excellency also indicated the importance of political action being based on the principle of national unity and unity of ranks by unifying the national discourse and giving priority to the public interest.
They discussed ways to provide the best services to citizens and improve the standard of living, and emphasized the supervisory and legislative role of the House of Representatives in monitoring the performance of state institutions and addressing negative cases.
