Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Labor announced measures to support the poor, including an increase in loans and the number of beneficiaries of protection, while it indicated that this came with the support of the Sudanese Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a.
The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, said in a statement, "The government program included three paragraphs related to the beneficiaries of his ministry's services, as a victory for the poor," noting that "our efforts were crowned with success, as this was done with the full support of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani."
He continued, "The most important of these paragraphs is increasing the number of people covered by the social care network, increasing the subsidy rate, and the number of full-time helpers to care for people with disabilities, as well as increasing loans for supporting small projects," explaining that "the ministry's services will not stop at this point, and we will continue with accelerated steps to target the poorest classes and alleviate their suffering.”
