    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:

The Border Crossings Authority stated today, Sunday, the issuance of directives from Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani to develop the border crossings in Basra.[/rtl]

[rtl]The head of the authority, Omar Al-Waeli, said in a statement, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani chaired a meeting that included all service departments in Basra Governorate at the provincial office headquarters, in the first stop of his tour in the province," noting that "during the meeting, we reviewed the needs and requirements of the directorates of border crossings and departments working in regards to infrastructures.[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement added, "Al-Sudani confirmed the governorate's continuation in developing the border crossings through its revenues in coordination with the Ministries of Finance and Planning," noting that "the authority's plan was presented to receive the teams and fans of the Gulf Championship 25 through the Basra International Airport and Safwan border crossings to ensure their smooth entry and provision of facilities.” All to ensure the success of the plan drawn up by the government, represented by the competent Supreme Committee.[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed to "the role of the governorate in making efforts to prepare the terminals, restore and create new terminals at Basra Airport, and there was also an important role by the working departments in the success of the plan drawn up at the Basra and Safwan airport outlets."[/rtl]
[rtl]The statement stated, "We reviewed the authority's efforts in practicing electronic auditing to prevent forgery and manipulation of official documents related to the commercial process, based on government directives established in the ministerial program," explaining that "the Ports Authority continues to coordinate, integrate , and exchange information with all working departments to advance the work situation and fight corruption.” The administrative and financial being the first challenge facing the progress of any positive work.[/rtl]
