Al-Sudani's media office said in a statement to Al-Sumaria News, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani inaugurated the Al-Kawthar Center for Investment Nuclear Medicine in Basra Governorate."
Al-Sudani affirmed that "the health file in Iraq is a priority in the government program, and stressed the government's determination to provide basic health and medical services to citizens."
It is noteworthy that the Al-Kawthar Center for Nuclear Medicine in Basra is the first center specialized in the production of radioactive isotopes for medical purposes. It provides advanced diagnostic services at the level of Iraq and the region. It is equipped with modern devices and technologies to treat cancer patients and diagnose early cases of cancer.
