The stability of gold prices in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil

Shafaq News/ “Foreign and Iraqi gold prices have stabilized in the local markets in the capital, Baghdad, and in the markets of Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region, today, Sunday, (January 1, 2023).
Shafaq News Agency reporter said that gold prices in the wholesale markets in Al-Nahr Street in the capital, Baghdad, were recorded this morning. The selling price of one 21-carat weight of Gulf, Turkish and European gold is 388,000 dinars, and the purchase price is 384,000 dinars, which are the same prices as yesterday, Saturday.
Our correspondent indicated that the selling price of one 21-carat weight of Iraqi gold also recorded stability at 358 thousand dinars, and the purchase price reached 354 thousand.
With regard to gold prices in goldsmiths' shops, the price of selling a 21-carat Gulf gold weight ranges between 390,000 and 400,000 dinars, while the selling price of an Iraqi gold weight ranged between 360,000 and 365,000 dinars.
As for the gold prices in Erbil, they also witnessed stability, as the price of selling a 24-carat gold weight reached 445,000 dinars, 22-carat sold 410,000 dinars, 21-carat sold 395,000 dinars, while 18-carat sold 335,000 dinars.
One mithqal of gold is equal to (five grams).
