IN THE ABSENCE OF ALTFAAL..BDE MEETINGS OF THE ARAB LEAGUE IN CAIRO AT THE LEVEL OF FOREIGN MINISTERS
Cairo - Iraq Press - September 7 / September: I started in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Sunday, of the meetings of the Arab League Council at the level of Arab foreign ministers in the 142 regular session, chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mauritania Ahmed Ould Teguedi.
INITIATED A CONSULTATIVE MEETING CLOSED MEETINGS RESTRICTED TO FOREIGN MINISTERS AND THE PRESENCE OF THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE ARAB LEAGUE, NABIL ELARABY, WHERE THE CLOSED-DOOR MEETING ACKNOWLEDGED THE ISSUES INCLUDED IN THE AGENDA.
THE MEETING WILL DISCUSS THE ISSUES RAISED IN THE FOREFRONT OF ARAB ISSUES, IRAQ, SYRIA, PALESTINE, LIBYA, AND THE RISKS FACING THE REGION IN LIGHT OF THE DETERIORATION OF SECURITY, WHICH SUFFER FROM A NUMBER OF COUNTRIES, MEETING AND LOOKING AT WAYS TO OVERCOME THIS SITUATION.
The meeting of Arab foreign ministers is of great importance in the eyes of political observers of the Arab scene, because of the Arab region is witnessing crises, where Foreign Ministers from 27 items were removed from the permanent delegates who wrapped up their work last Thursday evening.
In the eyes of other observers that the Arab League meetings are consultative meetings to graduate any results that would serve the Arab reality deteriorating, due by the observers as to the rules of procedure of the Arab League, which for Aitbny issuing decisions, but the recommendations only, with the recommendations are not binding to the Arab countries, but is optional in the application.
