The President of the Republic calls for justice in the case of the assassination of Al-Muhandis and Soleimani

Shafaq News/ The President of the Iraqi Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, called, on Thursday, for justice to be achieved by prosecuting the perpetrators of the assassination of the deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, "Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis," and the former commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, General Qassem Soleimani, in early 2020 with a blow. This came in a speech delivered on his behalf by his representative, Abdullah Al-Alaywi, during the official festival of the Popular Mobilization Authority to commemorate the third anniversary of the assassination of "Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis", and the Iranian General Soleimani and their companions.
Rashid promised in his speech, "The harm of global arrogance in targeting the two leaders confirms the importance and greatness of the two leaders in thwarting the enemy's plans."
The President of the Republic said, "The crime of targeting must be the subject of permanent condemnation and rejection, and it should be one of the priorities of Iraqi political engagement until justice is achieved."
