Shafaq News/ The President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid stressed today, Thursday, to the delegation of the Council of Shiite Scholars in Afghanistan, the importance of the Afghan government representing all components of its people
A statement of the presidency was reported to Shafaq News Agency. The President of the Republic said, "The Afghan people have suffered a lot over the past decades, and the tragedies they suffer from should be overcome, expressing Iraq's sympathy with the Afghan people, support for civil and societal peace, internal cohesion among all its components, strengthening security and stability, respect for diversity and freedoms, and avoiding violence and intimidation."
Rasheed confirmed; The importance of the independence of the Afghan decision and the need to find ways to raise the level of internal dialogue for the Afghan people to ensure access to the required participants, pointing to the inevitability of the Afghan government representing all components of its people to achieve their aspirations in building a state of stability and prosperity.
For its part, the delegation gave an explanation about the situation in Afghanistan, and expressed its thanks and appreciation to President Rashid for the warm welcome, praising Iraq's support for the Afghan people and calling for security and stability in Afghanistan, according to the statement.
