    A member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Ahmed Fawaz Al-Watifi, revealed, on Tuesday, that there are more than 100 draft laws that are still parked in the corridors of the House of Representatives, including oil and gas, the Federal Court, and the Civil Service and Retirement Law. 
    Al-Watifi said, in a press statement, that "more than 100 laws are still parked in the corridors of the House of Representatives since the previous parliamentary sessions." 
    He added that "the Parliamentary Legal Committee will begin to include laws successively on the agenda after approving the draft budget law," noting that "the presence of a parliamentary movement that aims to legislate laws that have been stalled for years due to political differences and some technical and legal problems." 
    Al-Watifi explained, "The House of Representatives is determined to pass important laws that affect the lives of citizens, the most prominent of which are retirement and civil service."
