Dollar prices rose again today, Sunday, in the local markets, in conjunction with the Central Bank’s assertion that it will subject cash sales to the electronic platform, similar to sales of foreign remittances.
And after the prices were stable around 162 thousand dinars per 100 dollars, the selling prices reached in the north
164,750 and buying 163,750.
As for Baghdad, there is no buying and selling due to the closure of the stock exchanges. On the other hand, selling in the south amounted to 164,500 and buying 163,500.
And the Central Bank had confirmed in a statement today, Sunday, that it would subject cash sales to the electronic platform, which predicts a greater decline in dollar sales.
