    {Politics: Al-Furat News} The House of Representatives, in its ninth session of its first term for the second legislative year within the fifth electoral session held today, Monday, headed by Muhammad Al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Council, completed reading three bills and postponing another.

    According to the statement of the Council's media department, {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, saying: "The House of Representatives voted to postpone a report and discussion of a proposed law for the third amendment to the Provincial and District Council Elections Law No. (12) of 2018 until next Saturday's session."
    He added, "The House of Representatives also voted to form a committee of experts specialized in selecting the Council of Commissioners of the High Commission for Human Rights, and under the supervision of the Deputy Speaker of the Council, Shakhwan Abdullah

    Organizations To demand unification of the definition of the meaning of the region contained in the agreement between the two parties to guarantee the rights in a balanced manner and that the insurance of the invested companies be in the Iraqi National Insurance Company and not in foreign companies.
    The House of Representatives finished the first reading of the draft law for the second amendment to the Iraqi Media Network Law No. (26) of 2015, and it also completed the report and discussion of the draft law ratifying the agreement on encouragement and mutual protection of investments between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
    The Council completed the second reading of the draft law ratifying the agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent evasion from paying taxes on income and capital between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of the Republic of Turkey.
    The Council decided to adjourn its session to next Saturday.
