The Supreme Judicial Council held its second session, which was held at 8:00 am on Thursday, corresponding to 2/3/2023, headed by the President of the Federal Court of Cassation, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, during which:
1. The Council discussed the issue of building the role of the judiciary in line with the urban development and that the judicial edifices be at a level appropriate to the prestige of the judiciary. It was emphasized that the process of evacuating the courts to be rebuilt in a new manner should be in a systematic manner and the adoption of a plan for the establishment of the alternative headquarters until the completion of the construction of the original headquarters.
2. The Council approved the promotion of a number of judges and members of the Public Prosecution Office and the granting of judicial positions that require approval of formations in some presidencies of appeal, according to the proposal submitted by the Presidency of Appeals. The transfer and assignment of a number of judges and members of the Public Prosecution office was also approved based on the requirements of the public interest
