    Earth News / The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers revealed today, Saturday, government plans towards women and their empowerment.
    “The Iraqi women’s file has received great attention from the Iraqi government, and it has been included among the government’s priorities in the ministerial program with the Prime Minister more than once to take care of Iraqi women and empower them,” noting that “the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has taken upon itself In this file, under the direct supervision of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, the Iraqi Women Empowerment Department in the General Secretariat.
    He added, “Iraq is one of the first countries that worked and applied the standards of Security Council Resolution 13_25 regarding the empowerment of Iraqi women. Also, the Council of Ministers recently approved the national plan for the empowerment of Iraqi women for the years 23_30. With international organizations and with the United Nations Organization for Women, there are many workshops and training courses for the empowerment of Iraqi women.”
    And he continued, “And among the plans that the Women’s Empowerment Department worked on is to empower them politically, and there were workshops and support for women’s participation in the elections and their protection from all external interference, whether from attacks that they are exposed to through social networking sites and the media. There is also a special paragraph to empower displaced and displaced women and rehabilitate them in the society".
    He explained that "with regard to the employment of Iraqi women, there is a plan to provide job opportunities for Yazidi survivors, as well as displaced returnees, as well as the rest of society, as there is a special plan to empower rural women and provide job opportunities, and there is direct coordination with the relevant state institutions in granting them loans and enrolling them in sewing courses and the rest of the specializations," indicating "These loans help Iraqi women to open many projects."
