{Local: Al Furat News} The Parliamentary Energy and Electricity Committee expressed optimism about the large allocations for the electricity sector in the financial budget.
Committee member Amang Herki said in a press statement, "The federal budget includes large financial allocations for the maintenance and recycling of electric power stations," explaining that "the budget focused on electricity, especially in the direction of renewable and solar energy, and the task of the committee will be to continue working on the implementation of these tasks." By looking at the companies that will invest in electric energy and build stations to bypass next summer.
Herky added, "The government is moving towards not relying on electricity-providing countries and relying on internal electrical stations, with gradual plans as much as possible, until full coverage of the country's needs is reached."
He pointed out, "The government program included these plans regarding Iraq's reliance on its own capabilities in stabilizing and developing electric energy and offering investments in it through solar and renewable energy."
