    Today, Wednesday, the head of the Federal Service Council, Mahmoud Al-Tamimi, confirmed that the launch of appointments depends on two things, while indicating the existence of government movement regarding the salary scale.
    Al-Tamimi said, in an interview with the official news agency, that “the launch of appointments depends on either a legal text or a decision of the Council of Ministers, meaning that the legal text is in the budget law, which determines grades, their types, numbers, and places of distribution, and we are obligated to implement them, or sometimes it is based on laws.” Exceptional, such as the emergency support law or the decisions of the Council of Ministers, and we are also obliged to implement all the details.
    Regarding the salary scale, Al-Tamimi pointed out that "a committee was formed by a Diwani order headed by the Director General of the Legal Department in the Ministry of Planning and membership of a number of ministries, including the Service Council, and this committee developed recommendations and submitted them to the government."
    He added, “The government discussed the recommendations of the committee, as well as the case of some committees of the House of Representatives who discussed the recommendations, for the purpose of setting a unified salary scale for all government institutions while preserving privacy for some jobs. , expressing his hope that "the recommendations will achieve the principle of equality and justice for all employees in the public sector."
