A group of independent MPs filed, today, Monday, a lawsuit in the Federal Court to invalidate the voting session on the St. Lego system.

He added, “The independents are continuing and steadfast in achieving the right.”

For his part, the deputy saidMohammed Jassim Al-KhafajiIn a clip he filmed from inside the Federal Court: “We submitted an appeal to Parliament Session No. 16 regarding the vote on the systemsaint lego".

Al-Khafaji added, "We submitted preliminary documents regarding the origin of the illegal and constitutional session," noting that "the case was submitted by about 30 independent deputies."

And the House of Representatives voted, at dawn last Monday, to amend the electoral system to the formula “saint lego1.7", despite the objections of a large number of deputies.

The vote came after the expulsion of members of the parliament who organized a protest against the abolition of the multi-circuit system, and the return to the old system, by the security force responsible for protecting the parliament building, based on direct orders from the speakerMohammed Al-Halbousi.

Video clips, some of which were captured by the objecting MPs' phone cameras, showed that al-Halbousi summoned the military force in the parliament building to clear the hall of the objectors to the law, before directing them to be referred to the Public Prosecution on charges of "disrupting the internal order of the House of Representatives."
