    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:[/rtl]
[rtl]The Kurdistan Regional Government expressed its concern about the attack that targeted Sulaymaniyah International Airport, while holding the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan responsible for complicating the situation in Sulaymaniyah.  [/rtl]
[rtl]"We express our concern about the attack on Sulaymaniyah International Airport. This terrible situation is the result of the occupation of government institutions and their use in illegal activities," said Jutiar Adel, a spokesman for the regional government, in a statement.  [/rtl]
[rtl]The statement added, "The behavior of an authoritarian partisan regime in Sulaymaniyah led to the closure of Turkish airspace towards Sulaymaniyah International Airport and then attacking it, as a result of our citizens in the region paying the price for their mistakes."  [/rtl]
[rtl]He also pointed out that "it is necessary to put an end to these unjust actions, the return of government authority and decent governance befitting the people of Sulaymaniyah and serving the people and their interests, and an end to the complex situation in the region." "

This statement angered the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, who confirmed that it does not represent the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq.[/rtl]

[rtl]The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed, on Friday, that the commander of the "Syrian Democratic Forces" had been subjected to two assassination attempts while he was in Iraq.  [/rtl]
[rtl]The Observatory said in a brief statement: "The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces survived an assassination attempt, after an attempt to target him from a drone, which is likely to be Turkish, in Iraq."     [/rtl]
[rtl]Earlier, Sertib Johar, one of the advanced cadres of the "Lahore Sheikh Genki" who was excluded from the leadership of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, spoke about the head of the "Syrian Democratic Forces" being subject to an assassination attempt in the city of Sulaymaniyah.

"The Commander-in-Chief of the SDF, Mazloum Abdi, survived a failed assassination attempt that targeted him in the city of Sulaymaniyah," Srtib wrote in a post, without further details.[/rtl]
