The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Ali Al-Alaq, revealed the details of the US Federal Bank's audit of Iraq's imports.
Al-Alaq said during his hosting of reporters, "international committees ask the Iraqi authorities about the fact of importing Al-Andomi, as the US Federal Bank checked them and said do you like it so much?"
He added, "The world is surprised by the love of the new generation of Iraqis for Andoumi, because of the large importation by Iraq for it, and the international committees ask me whether it is real or not, this is among the strange imports that the US Federal Bank has achieved."
He pointed out that "gold is the biggest guarantor of the future of the currency in Iraq," stressing that "the reserves of the yellow metal have now reached 132 tons."
