An Egyptian contribution to the construction of 15 residential cities

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities coordinated with the Egyptian side to introduce its companies to the implementation of a number of construction projects for 15 new residential cities in the country.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Nabil Al-Saffar, said in a statement to “Al-Sabah”: The Minister of Reconstruction, Benkin Rikani, held a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Assem Al-Jazzar, in addition to the chairmanship of the Egyptian Arab Contractors Company, to study offers and requests submitted by Egyptian companies to implement a number of projects in the country. Especially with regard to the 15 new residential cities, of which the ministry is currently carrying out work for five of them. He pointed out that Egypt has companies with experience and great specialization in the field of building cities, in a way that led to the elimination of their housing crisis, through the construction of new ones on the outskirts of the current central cities, and in a way that contributed to absorbing their large population density, revealing that the Egyptian side showed its willingness to use its consulting companies, to prepare The designs and plans of those cities, noting that she had met with the New Cities Authority, which was recently formed by the ministry, to discuss the most important mechanisms needed by these cities.
In the same regard, Al-Saffar indicated that Egyptian companies own important projects in the country, including the project to develop and expand the Fine Arts Intersection, which is being implemented within the plan to remove traffic jams, while other contracts submitted by Egyptian companies are being studied to implement other projects within the package.
