    Today, Tuesday, September 5, 2023, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a phone call from his Kuwaiti counterpart, Salem Abdullah Al-Sabah, during which they discussed relations between the two countries and developments in the region.
    Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said that the call "discussed the close bilateral relations that bind the two brotherly countries and discussed the latest regional developments and current developments in the region."
    She added, "During the call, a number of issues of bilateral interest and everything that would achieve the common interest of the two brotherly countries and peoples were discussed."
    Yesterday, Monday, the Federal Supreme Court ruled that the law ratifying the maritime navigation agreement in Khor Abdullah with Kuwait was unconstitutional, and attributed that "to its violation of the provisions of Article (61 / Fourth) of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq, which stipulated (the process of ratification of international treaties and agreements is regulated by a law enacted by a two-thirds majority of members). Parliament)".
